Don’t spend your vacation in a cramped cottage when your family or group can spread out and relax in our 2400sf, year-round home, set among shade trees and tall pine less than a block away from a beautiful, sandy beach with gazebo and bathhouse.   

The beach is public and beautifully maintained.  But, it feels private tucked away at the end of our beach drive behind a shimmering stand of trees.  Not many know about Gerrish Township Beach, and those who do tend to keep it to themselves – a local’s secret.  In our opinion, we’re a stroll from the best beach on Higgins Lake. 

Our home is year-round, situated on an acre treed lot with plenty of room for multiple cars, including boat, or snowmobile trailers.  We can accommodate large groups of 10-12 or often smaller groups prefer the extra space to unwind and relax.   We have two full baths, fully equipped kitchen, large dining area, living room, family room, two fireplaces, washer/dryer, cable, wireless internet, and a huge sun deck with patio furniture and gas grill. The kids will enjoy our rustic outdoor shower under the pine trees, complete with hot/cold water, to wash off after a long day at the beach.  Mom, Dad, don’t forget to take a nap on the hammock. And, of course, we have a large bonfire pit.  No vacation is complete without roasted marshmallows and smores!

Or just relax, read a book, play some cards or board games.  We have several games at our place like Monopoly, Charades, Cranium, etc.  Sometimes, the best thing is to get away and make time for the simple things we rarely do at home.
